grad gripes
i just got back from my 5-day trip to florida. i had a good time and i think i made my grandparents really happy but i almost wish i hadn't gone. today was spent running around doing 498723094850293485 things to make sure I graduate with both my degrees in june and with honors.
long story short, i was missing a GEC class, so i have to add another class which fucks me up bc i have to take it now. THEN i had a hold on my account which i had to pay....making me run back and forth across campus all day.
Did i mention i got 4 hours of sleep cuz my plane came in after 1 AM and i got home at 2?
I also still have to get both my poly sci and comm advisors to sign off on my honors contract and get that approved....sdhfalksdhfasudh.
i went to the comm office to get that done but the honors advisor is f'n out on vacation all week! wtf! i waited an hour for the other lady until i was next in line...but then i had to go to class. i was livid!!
so now i get to wake up early tomorrow morning to get that done too.
my honors contract was a mess too, even though my advisor is nice. at first she was giving me attitude but i gave it right back and she backed off. now we love each other. anyways, my contract was a mess so my advisor brought in a nice black lady who didnt speak english and she just put classes in all the empty spots. i dont know if they fit but she's apparently the swing vote to the boss so i got lucky there.
speaking of not speaking english, two of my professors are very asian. i can already tell my brain is going to hurt from translating all their r's into l's and "visa-versa".
facebook's compare people decides to send me random emails sometimes. apparently my ranks changed from last time. one thing of significance which i may try to keep in mind this quarter:

gained 9 places, now #10 most likely! to succeed
gained 11 places, now #14 most tech-savvy
gained 18 places, now #15 most generous
lost 10 places, now #20 best father (potential)
lost 15 places, now #38 most studious
so apparently...i am more likely to succeed now that people perceive me as less studious. hahaha. whatever, it's the little things i find amusing.
